The provision of accomodation, workshop space, exhibition facilities, and basic supplies of materials for un(der)employed and/or underfunded artists working particulalry with local youth and children's groups, organising workshops and events to accomodate such groups in the local community by offering mixed media arts and crafts programmes, and providing burseries to encourage such artists and others to share in, learn, and benefit from the "Arts-Space" and the "Life-Space" offered them -- such is the "work" of "ArtSpace-LifeSpace"
with workshops and workshop projects designed to help undiscovered as much as underfunded artists to construct quality portfolios of their work, "ArtSpace-LifeSpace" acts also as an agency to find them employment thus payment for their skills, i.e. as an independent promotion bureau tp provide them an on-line networking service to secure contracts for their work in the commercial market place.
To sum up :- Working closely with local youth and children's groups by organising an efficient rota system to enable them to benefit from an active working environment, the "work" of "ArtSpace-LifeSpace" may therefore be said to be to stimulate individual interests by encouraging participants to explore ever further their creativity.
From such beginnings in 1992 "ArtSpace-LifeSpace" now operates from various locations in London, also in Costa Rica. The idea and intention is to create many more such "ArtSpace-LifeSpaces" to enable participants not only to move between them, but also to facilitate the sale of their work internationally.
